big topic if you ask a lot of people jackwills is now official common and even chavy in some peoples eyes

what do you think

personaly i actualy think its lost its edge

it's not CHAVVY! fuckinghell! it's the classiest teenage label, without it breaking the bank. just because chavs wear it, doesn't make it chavvy, and the people that say it's chavvy can obviously afford it. i have to work so hard, i only have two jack wills items. all together tehy were about 150 quid. some kids just get given the money, i work for about 4 weeks to get one jumper. SERIOUSLY!

cos i dont think its chavy, but i dont like it much. everyone just ends up with the same stuff.

ok maybe chavys not the right word

but it was cool because it was expensive and exclusive

it was cool because its unique thats how the brand works

but now everyone has exactly the same stuff and the bags ant cool because everyone has them and its the same with the cloths


so people stop buying them then no one has them so its exclusive agin so the cycle starts over

yeah, i agree with everything being the same. like, they only make say 25 different types of clothing and make the in different colours, which i think is a bit sneaky.

it all comes down to taste i guess. i love preppy clothes. i am kinda preppy. some people wear hoodies non stop, some people like indie clothes. it's all in what you like. don't follow the croud cause like, it gets you nowhere

yeah i dotn ahev any jack wills things but i do think that it is nice but all the same there is not variation. i prefer republic and bank. also topshop and warehouse are my favs. you just gotta wear what you like. its liek you feel you have to have one of their hoodies to feel included as special and its no big deal it just a label like anything else. like i now someone who bought something from french connction for 200 qid and hse found the same one in another shop for 30 quid!

shannon. having a jack wills hoody doesn't mean you want to feel 'included' or 'special'. it just means you like the hoody. CHRIST. i don't belong to any particular group of friends. i get on with pretty much anyone. seriosuly like, campden doesn't have like, the 'peaople who can afford jack wills' and 'the people who can't' i can barely afford it. as i said, i take 4 or 5 weeks to save up for one, and when i get it, i don't take it for granted.

so there is the jackwills bag almost cult group and then there is the devide and then the not

but now more have the not have JW bages etc so the club isnt exclusive so the original members arnt intrested anymore and move on to a new design
